I am encountering an unexpected issue in my ROMS simulation. When I compute the mean temperature over the 200–700 m depth range, the output shows a sudden drop over time that does not appear physically realistic.
For reference, I have attached the .in and .h files.
A figure showing the temperature averaged over 200–700 m is attached, where the drop is clearly visible.
Could anyone please suggest potential reason in ROMS set-up for such a temperature drop?
