Biogeochemistry for ROMS for the Antarctic Ocean

#1 Unread post by cecaijal »

Hi!

We have a ROMS model based on metroms-iceshelf (https://github.com/knaughten/metroms_iceshelf), using Rutgers version ROMS 3.7 for the Antarctic Ocean.

We would like to activate/couple a biogeochemistry model to this, and I would like to ask for advice on what model could be good and straightforward to couple. The model should have iron limitation and carbon cycling. We are currently looking into the models "BEC" and "UMaine CoSINE", and I would be happy with any comments/experience on these, or if there is some other model we should look into.

Thank you in advance,
