Walltime for initialization alone

Dear community,

I'd like to write out the walltime for the initialization phase and the time stepping phase separately, but I'm struggling, due to my lack of Fortran90 skills. Please help.

What would the code snippets look like and where would you place them?

I'm using MPI and PARALLEL_IO. All other cpp options are attached. I need this capability to due efficient profiling of a large model.
