Dear all --
Does anyone know of a package to calculate the potential vorticity flux J either inline while the model is running, or from the saved output? I would prefer python, but would be happy with anything. I would prefer not to have to re-invent the wheel, especially if that wheel involves accurately diagnosing all the diabatic and viscous terms...
