is it possible to make a spin up process using ROMS ?

Is there the possibility with ROMS to make a spin-up process to reach a state of dynamic equilibrium of velocity fields (starting from rest) under fixed hidrographic and atmospheric forcings fields as in the case of Princeton Ocean Model (POM) where that could be made turning on the Diagnostic Mode (following Blumberg, Mellor, Ezer, etc) ?
