An urgent problem about downloading ROMS by using SVN

#1 Unread post by zhouwei »

Hi,I seem to have a problem when accessing this website by "svn checkout". https://www.myroms.org/svn/src

The problem emerged when I try to login with my user name(Zhou Wei) and password, which are exactly as same as I used to login this Discussion and myroms.org website.

== Svn checkout ==
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/src'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svn/src': 403 Forbidden (https://www.myroms.org)

Is this problem caused by the blank in my username(Zhou Wei)?

Any information is greatly appreciated

Hi Zhou Wei!
If it's because of the blank, mybe you can try type your username 'Zhou\ Wei'. the backslash is use in linux (and I guess unix) to mark a blank.
good luck

Get yourself a user name with no spaces (or other unusual characters) in it.

I sent an email to all users with illegal characters (including spaces) in their user name several months back. Perhaps you missed it. please send an email to robertson@marine.rutgers.edu containing what you would like you new user name to be.
