How to employ the ice submodule

#1 Unread post by tony1230 »

I want to add the ice variable into my application, how to do ?

In my real case, i should run years of time to simulate biogeochemistry processes, but during winter time there covers ice on half of the sea ares. I never reach to the ice model and do not know how to use it. I hope someone expertice can guide me how to employ the ice module into use with biogeochemistry or if there would be problem to do this.

Thanks in advance.

The ice model is not in the trunk of ROMS, but it is in my branch. You can get my branch via svn by asking robertson@marine.rutgers.edu for access or via github at https://github.com/kshedstrom/roms.

As for BGC models, Fei Chai's CoSiNE model is in my branch, again not in the trunk. It has over 30 variables, not including iron (we want iron in at least some Alaska waters).
