maximum number of point sources

#1 Post by mjd09 » Fri Feb 05, 2010 6:14 am

Hi All,
I keep getting a segmenatation error when I run my model when my number of point sources (Nsrc) exceeds 100.
"forrtl: severe (174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occurred"

My grid is i=100, j=10, k=5. In ana-psource my point sources are defined at i,j locations and across all vertical (k) levels. Problems occur when Nsrc are >100.

I have tried to edit the value of Msrc from 200 to 100000 in mod_soorces.F to correct for this.
Should I be looking somewhere else in the source code?
Does ROMS calculate Msrc across all vertical levels or only as they are defined in 2 dimensions?

Many thanks in advance,
Mark
