Purpose of this forum; bug reporting

I've been a bit frustrated recently because ROMS bugs that I have found and reported have crept back into the code in later releases. I spend some time isolating a bug and find it's deja vu all over again.

I think there should be a public, permanent record of bugs, discussions thereon and fixes.

The current forum ("ROMS Information") is described in the index as a place to "Report or discuss bugs that you have found in the roms software." But its name is not really consistent with that. And I don't see all that many bug reports here.

What about a forum named "ROMS bugs"? What about making a copy here of bug reports submitted by other means?

Yes. I created the ROMS bugs thread. I moved some of the bug related postings to this topic. There is also a list of known bugs for version 2.1. I Keep updating this entry when new bugs are reported. I also moved this information to the ROMS Bugs forum.
