Hello friends.I had some question about LTRANS model. 1)when i want to run this model,this error happens.
Error : cannot open file 'libc.lib' LINK
how can i solve it?
2)where of the visual studio i should add my netcdf.lib?
3)i download netcdf grid file from LTRANS file(baymouth_grid_macroms.nc. but i dont know how is the mesh form of the ROMS model.please help me :(

Dear hodamahyar,
To answer your questions:
1. It looks like the error it is a problem with changes to Visual Studio (https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forum ... =vcgeneral). I'm sorry that I can't help more with this. I use ifort and gfortran now and have not kept up with changes in Visual Studio.

2. I cannot help you with this because we do not run LTRANS with Visual Studio anymore. Hopefully someone who does will help.

3. Please see figure 2 of the LTRANS User's Guide available on the LTRANS web page and here:

If you would like to visualize what is in a netcdf file, I recommend using panoply (https://www.giss.nasa.gov/tools/panoply/).

hello. i run LTRANS with the input file in its own site successfully. but when i want to visualize it in matlab(plot_results.m code that was in the LTRANS site), the particles go somewhere that is not true. for example in days=4.5 the particles goes here(look at attachment file please). can anyone help me? what is the problem?

please please would you send me the output file of LTRANS? i run LTRANS with the examples of the site(http://northweb.hpl.umces.edu/LTRANS.htm). but it doesnt give me the correct output. please send me the output(.csv) files to compare them with myself.

You've posted the same message three times in here - you don't need to do that.

I can't give you LTRANS output, however, never having run it.
