start from specific time

#1 Unread post by redhat007 »

Dear
would you please tell me that for starting model from one specific time, we should just determine
1-its time in Dstart (ocean.in)
2-and provide initial time (ocean_time) equal to Dstart*24*3600 (second)

when i want to start model from first day of November 2003 , i set
DSTART = 304.00d0 ! days
TIDE_START = 0.0d0 ! days
TIME_REF = 20030101.0d0 ! yyyymmdd.dd
and ocean_time equal to 26265600 second. After running the model it say that it gives Rec=2432 from sms,swrad,shflux and swflux ( equal to 31-oct-2003 22:30 in force file ) as a initial condition and then Rec=2433 for fist step?is it correct? Or are there another way to check it?
My river data in monthly and sms, swrad, shflux and swflux are 3-hourly data in 2003. stdout shows that it

when model run it gives me

It looks good to me. All you have to do is pick a consistent time origin for all your inputs.
