iron eastern boundary condition not reading

Hello,

I am writing in connection with ROMS_3.7_NPZD_IRON model set-up.
The model is running but it is not reading dissolved iron eastern boundary condition.

I prescribed open boundary for NO3 and iron and closed boundary for the rest variables in npzd_iron.in file.
Initially, the model was not running as it was asking for phytFe_east boundary.

Hereafter I prescribed a small value (0.001 millimole/m3) for the phytFe_east boundary.
Then, the model started running but it is not reading dissolved iron eastern boundary condition instead it is reading phytoplankton, iron concentration eastern boundary condition.

I am not sure but it seems that the model code is not reading iron eastern boundary condition properly.
