Can anyone suggest me how can I plot a crosssection of depth in meter Vs Longitude from Roms output for a fixed latitude and time point. How to manage sigma coordinate when we want a section of depth and longitude for a fixed latitude but in reality sigma coordinate is terrain following coordinate and it will vary for both latitude and longitude? Is there anyone who can suggest me probable solution by ferret or NCL either MATLAB. I have tried some plotting packages those are available in internet and suggested in some of the ocean modeling discussions of ROMS Forum but I did'nt get much success.
