parameter hc and Tcline

#1 Unread post by hpd14thu »

Hi all,

I am writing the matlab code to generate init.nc file now. But I am not clear about the physical significance of parameter hc and Tcline. I try to Goole that but I did not find the answer. I would so appreciate if if someone can explain these parameters.

Thanks for your attention and your reply.ヽ(•ω• )ゝ

The parameters Tcline and hc are explained here:
https://www.myroms.org/wiki/Vertical_S-coordinate

The page concludes with some example stretching generated with scoord.m which is in the Matlab repository available on myroms.org.
