About disspiation of turbulent kinetic energy

Hi ROMS's users! I want to compute the disspiation of turbulent kinetic energy using ROMS outputs.I used Mellor-Yamada turbulence close schemes. I have ROMS output tke(oceantime,s_w,eta_rho,xi_rho) and gls(oceantime,s_w,eta_rho,xi_rho). Now I have a question that if q^2=sqrt(2*tke) and l = gls/tke ? If so,can the disspiation of turbulence kinetic energy be computed as q^3/(B1*l) = tke^(5/2)/(B1*gls)? Anyone could help? Many Thanks!
