The candidate will work with the COAWST modeling system (WRF, ROMS, SWAN, InWave, and Sediment Transport Routines) to investigate storm dynamical response (currents, waves, water levels, infragravity motions, morphological changes) during a selected group of hurricane and severe events. As a Computer Scientist, General Engineer, Geologist or Oceanographer within the Woods Hole Coastal & Marine Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

- Serve as a member of the Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center, Sediment Transport Group.
- Configure and run numerical simulation using a variety of oceanic, wave and sediment transport models, and develop new techniques and algorithms as needed to advance group research goals.
