The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore invites applications for multiple positions in ocean and hydrologic modeling.

We are seeking to fill the following positions:
1) Postdoctoral fellow – Development of Hydrologic-hydrodynamic coupled modeling
2) Postdoctoral fellow – Hydrologic modeling for Singapore
3) PhD scholarship – Hydrodynamic modeling of Singapore Straits

Applicants for the postdoctoral positions must have a Ph.D in Civil, Environmental, Ocean or Coastal Engineering, Physical Oceanography or a closely related field.

Candidates for position (1) are required to have experience in model coupling (MCT), unstructured-grid hydrodynamic models (SUNTANS, FVCOM, UnTRIM, SELFE), hydrologic models (InHM, PIHM), solid programming skills in C and be comfortable with working in a parallel computing environment.

Candidates for position (2) are required to have experience with hydrologic models (InHM, PIHM) and solid programming skills in C.

The appointment will be for 12 months, with continuation subject to satisfactory performance. The remuneration and benefits are internationally competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Leave and medical benefits will be provided.
