WRF_ROMS running problem

#1 Unread post by Alex5 »

Hi everyone,

I got the following error when running WRF and ROMS. Do you have any idea about solving this.
By the way, I am sure that the processor configuration for WRF and ROMS is right.

mct_coupler - Number assigned processors: 032
not equal to spawned MPI nodes: 001

Thanks in advance.

Assuming you are using COAWST, this sounds like a question for the COAWST forum, though perhaps John Warner is the only one to regularly read it. Or maybe a question for your sys admin who can tell you how to spawn 32 processes.

really sounds like there is a mismatch between the total number of processors specified in the coupling.in file as compared to the number of proc (-np X) that you place on the command line to launch the job. if you have more issues you can post them on the coawst trac site or send me an email.
