Re: nested grid with pyroms: tutorial and python routines

Hello Kate, I need pyroms to postprocess the roms outputs, since I already do the preprocessing with Matlab, I am going to look for information about Pangeo, thank you very much.

Re: nested grid with pyroms: tutorial and python routines

Hello Kate, I have already installed the pyroms according to your indications, but I cannot find any documentation or examples, I have searched and I cannot find how to start using pyroms, I would be grateful if you could tell me where to find help in that regard, best regards and thank you very much.

Constant Potential Energy with tides forcing files

Hello, I am having a problem with the potential energy and the total energy of my experiment, I am using tidal and boundary forcing extracted from the HYCOM, but for some reason the potential energy and the total energy remain constant, and are not in phase with The tide as expected, I would appreci...

Re: Blowing up problem

Hello Kate, I have revised my earth mask and I have some problems, I am solving them, here I attach an picture from the restart file, in this case, the density anomalies, which was the blowup problem, I do not know if I indicate something to you, thank you very much. PD: The image was obtained with ...

Re: Blowing up problem

Hello Kate, the model does not seem to run more longer with a smaller time step, I have smoothed the bathymetry several times, I think the model is blowingup near the west coast of the domain, here is an picture of the earth mask, maybe that is the problem ?, thank you very much. https://drive.googl...

Re: Blowing up problem

Hello Kate, I have been trying to simulate with roms but I always get a blowup in the first time steps, in my case it is the density, I have tried reducing the time step, the grid metrics seem to be ok, the courant numbers are also fine, Here is the metrics of my vertical levels, I do not know if I ...
