Re: MAIN: Abnormal termination: BLOWUP.

I can't speak for the rest, but I don't want to look at your restart file. You need to start developing tools for looking at ROMS output, including restart files. The simplest way to start is with ncview, which will show you the fields in any netcdf file (or group of files). That is often good enou...

Re: How to write hraw variable into grid file?

Time to develop some debugging skills. How did it work the first time and not the second? Did you change codes? I changed my topo files to have different variable names at some point to be consistent with files from another source. You can use the NCO package to make such changes. kate, thanks your...

I attempt to try Lattec run01 case. I have VARNAME = ../in/varinfo.dat in ocean_lattec.in file. And I have the varinfo.dat file in "in" folder.

Attached are my varinfo.dat and ocean_lattec.in files.

Re: gridpak: BIG in rect must be at least?

kate, Thanks for your help!!! Both Caribbean and USwest work! The root cause of the problem is that the files in Caribbean or USwest must be copied into the Include folder, not the BIG or ITMAX. ~/roms/SCS$ ./grid < USwest/grid.in rectangularity error in mapped contour at iteration 1 is 7.7235E-02 r...

Re: gridpak: BIG in rect must be at least?

kate,

Thanks for your reply!

There is no rect.F file in gridpak folder. In Drivers folder, there is a grid.F file, in which there is

integer BIG
parameter (BIG=3000)

I made the BIG larger than 8192, but the error still exist.
