Re: Problems about temp and zeta results

Hi,

You are using radiation boundary condition for T, S and 3d-momentum, meaning that it is not getting any boundary information on this variables during the simulation. Try using RadNud condition, or even clamped to see if the problem persists.

good luck,

Re: Input error when including boundary conditions in 4DVar

Hi, I recently had the same problem. I got this error changing the assimilation window lenght. My ini file comes from my last assimilation cycle (with different NTIMES) and has the vars: zeta_obc, salt_obc, temp_obc, u_obc, v_obc, ubar_obc and vbar_obc, all of them with obc_adjust dimension. The obc...

Re: PYROMS installation

Hi, I´m starting with pyroms, still strugling with the instalation. "Modify the file pyroms_toolbox/pyroms_toolbox/setup.py. In the external libraries, I added the reference to move_river_t." Could you provide the "/pyroms_toolbox/setup.py" modification in order to fix the move_r...

Re: ROMS-SWAN - WET&DRY in SWAN?

Thanks again warner! Sorry for using this forum to ask something more specific of SWAN model, but swan forum is not as used as this is (there is not a topic explaning this issue, and no one answer to this question there), and the SWAN manual doesn't comprises this issue either (issue: how to provide...

Re: ROMS-SWAN - WET&DRY in SWAN?

Thanks Warner, my file .bot is following the same logic of my roms grid: 'wet' bathymetry values (>0), 'dry' bathymetry values (<0, at the analytical beach), and 'mask' values (9999 values). After I read the last reply, I thought that maybe the problem was with the DEPMIN value (0.05m), that would s...

ROMS-SWAN - WET&DRY in SWAN?

Dear Rommers, I'm implementing a nearshore model, with ROMS and SWAN coupled (using COAWST), and Wet and Drying capability. The problem is: in roms grid, the negative 'h' values goes for dry cells, and as the sea level rises, the dry cells passes to wet cells (no problem here). But it seems that SWA...

Re: Problem about Inlet_test

Check your build.bash file, there are some CPP flags defined there,

Re: Problems on converting *.mat file to *.nc file

Hi, try to use the script "seagrid2roms_new.m", instead of the "seagrid2roms.m" that you are using. When I downloaded the seagrid, this script came together and is more compatible with my netcdf matlab packages. good luck, Gabriel Carvalho Oceanographer - Rio de Janeiro P.S: In c...

Re: make file problem

hello,
fancer, I'm having the same problem, and I've made your sugestion changing the -lnetcdf by -lnetcdff.

But I don't understand what do you mean by configuring the netcdf. How can I do this?

thanks in advance,
Gabriel Carvalho
