Dear Zhaoqian, Mathematically, ROMS is based upon partial differential equations. Generally, theorems ensure existence and uniqueness of the solutions only for positive times t: it means that this kind of results doesn't work for reverse (negative) times. Nevertheless, you can intuitively try to ...
