I dowloaded that forcing package (by H. Arango) from

but we could not compile it for my PC under linux (I asked for help to the system administrator) , it is maybe a problem with the architecture .

I solved the problem defining ANALYTICAL in my ROMS header file after I checked that analytical.F (in ROMS/Functional) have that condition to include header files ana_hmixcoef.h and ana_nudgcoef.h

Someone could tell me if that is correct or if there is another solution ?

Kate, Really I have thought in three different domains of interest: 1. a first of 2000 km x 1000 km (resolution ~ 20 km) 2. a second of 400 km x 400 km (resolution ~ 5 km) 3. a third of smaller with resolution ~ 1 km to get a ocean picture in regional and meso scales, and then to decide for nesting....

Thanks a lot for you reply. I would like to have plotting scripts for Matlab (are you refering to NetCDF Matlab Mex files or others ?). Also I would like to review the NCAR graphic routines and ncdum and ncgen utilities.

Also, I will check if GMT also works with NetCDF format.
