Parking and information booths are located in 11 kiosks (several can be seen in
green on the
map)
across the UCLA campus. The booths are staffed by parking assistants who
can help with directions and parking-related services.
ROMS User Workshop
Parking will be in lot 8, located at Stratmore Ave. and Westwood Ave.
three blocks from Bradley International Hall, seen in
red.
There are 30 spaces reserved. Attendees should drive
to the parking/information kiosk located on Westwood Ave. just in front of parking lot 8, seen in
yellow
(
map). Give
the parking attendant the confirmation number 208233 (the Regional
Oceanic Modeling Workshop) to receive a parking gate access card and
a parking sticker (good only for one day). You will need to go through
this procedure all three days. If the 30 spaces have gone to other
workshop attendees, you can purchase parking from the attendant for $8.
The Workshop is in The Bradley International Hall,
Community Sediment Transport Meeting
Parking will be in lot 2 (shown in orange),
located at Hilgard Ave.
and Westholme Ave. and directly east of the Geology Building and
Slichter Hall (shown in purple).
There are 30 spaces reserved. The parking kiosk is located at the
intersection and next to the parking lot. The confirmation number to give
the parking attendant is 208234 (the Community Sediment Transport Model,
CSTM, Workshop). The meeting will be held in Slichter Hall, room 3853.
There are several places on campus where you
can go for lunch while attending the workshop. An interactive map can be
found
here.
A hard copy map of places to eat will be included in the workshop program
that you will recieve the first day of the workshop.
