User Manual and Web Documentation

We have started the time consuming task of writting an online ROMS/TOMS user manual. Since user manuals become outdated with every new realease, we have designed a dynamic web-based interface to update the model documentation. A prototype of this interface will be shown. We want to encourage the user community to participate actively in developing, updating, and improving the model documentation. We as developers often underestimate the amount of detail needed by a particular user. What is very obvious to a developer will look like dark magic to an inexperienced user. This topic will be addressed fully in the discussion sessions.
