The ROMS adjoint sensitivity analysis tool kit has been used to explore the sensitivity of various aspects of the physical and biological circulations in the southern portion of the California Current system to variations is various fundamental attributes of the system. The use of the adjoint of ROMS in this way is an extremely efficient method of sensitivity analysis, and the results of various experiments will be presented and discussed.
